Fear of Heights and Crossing Bridges
There are only two innate
fears that we are born with. One is the fear of sudden loud noises (which is
why we jump at them) and the other is the fear of falling (which is why many
of us experience a jerking sensation of falling just as we are drifting off
to sleep). The fear of heights is a very rational fear as it can be very
dangerous. It probably stems from this fear of falling, as if we fall from a
high place or a bridge then the chance of survival is pretty slim.
However sometimes this fear
is exaggerated and we become scared of being anywhere off the ground. It can
interfere with our every day lives, in circumstances such as looking over
balconies, walking over bridges or down a steep set of stairs. The fear may
be so overwhelming that it freezes you in your tracks.
Hypnotherapy can provide a
relief from this fear that doesn’t involve facing your fear for real. Your
unconscious mind will be taught how to respond to heights in a calm and
relaxed manner, replacing any panic with confident, safe feelings. Next time
you find yourself up high, you will be able to accept where you are and find
your fear fading into nothing
So download this MP3 and
dramatically reduce your fear of heights once and for all.
